Youth Stewardship Program

West First Heights Scout Troop Planting Trees

FVC’s Youth Stewardship Program, currently being developed, is specifically targeted at youth aged 8-20. The programs objectives are to train and educate youth in various stewardship activities.  Activities will include tree planting, wildlife monitoring, and civic engagement. Designed to engage youth in life-long learning and practice, the program will build environmental ethics and Youth Stewards will see how their actions ensure that environmental services such as clean air and water will be available for them in their future and their children’s future.
